HAPPY CNY! :D
haha. have decided to write down how i spent my 4 CNY days.
eat, talk, laugh, slack, help out, etc.
CNY DAY 1
waiting for dad's friend to come down from 11.30 to 12.30 :O
watched tv and ate cny snacks slacking while waiting.
after they left, went to ah po's house[mum's side]
collect angbao!
ate reunion lunch with cousins and relatives (:
hid in aunt's bedroom as there's no space in the living room[other relatives were there]
chatted with wenny, robin and jolyn (((:
in the end, played blackjack when lawrence came.
even my dad joined in the fun :P
so i paired up with my dear wenny (:
haha.
only won once double.
in the end, we earned 40cents each.
but she got $10; i got $4.[thats the money we had in the beginning (:]
after playing, went to aunt's house [dad's sis]
collect angbao!
ate dinner there :DDD
and played games.
i lost in the first round[scissors, paper, stone], my dad lost, but not my mum.
she even got into the final round[guessing the correct CNY idiom through drawings] !!!
and won second prize,w/ the help of me and dad :D
HAHA.
went home around 11, coz mum's working the next day :(
NIGHT NIGHT(:
CNY DAY 2
woke up early to help dad in dinner cooking (:
dad ordered roast duck and roast pork.
he just cooked a dish made up of red, green and purple capsiums, and celery and prawns; and a steamed fish weighing 1kg.
uncle[dad's bro] & family came around 3.
they watched tv, ate snacks (:
was in the kitchen helping dad, and waiting for aunt[dad's sis] & family to come.
waited and waited and waited...
till 6.30, and the fish was already steaming when they arrived D:
we arranged the table and seats while they prepared to take a photo!!! (((:
in the living room, the dishes, random pics.
1,2,3, SMILE :D
haha.
ate dinner, chatted, took photos here and there.
we opened sparkling juice, and my uncle drank XO :P
woohoo!
uncle&family left around 8[they went to my sis-in-law's house]
aunt&family left around 9, chatting and watching tv (:
tired and busy.
opened the gift my bro and sis-in-law brought from maldives[honeymoon!]

watched tv till 11[my dad watched ongbak D: - not nice].
BEDTIME!
CNY DAY 3
just a normal day until a phone call was received.
my aunts[mum's sis] were coming.
that was around 3.30
they told me that they'll arrived around 5.
mum was sleeping, dad was preparing dinner, me doing hw plus using the com (((:
told dad about it, and started to prepare dinner.
fish, chicken.
its 5, but no one ):
waited another hr - 6.
aunts and loy came.
chatted, watched tv, ate snacks[the same thing :P]
was cooking dinner while phone rang.
uncle[mum's bro] was coming too!
got to prepare more dishes and rice,which means (:
sweet and sour pork.
uncle & surprisingly leonard came too.
haha.
phone call again :P
its lawrence, he's coming too[coz their family initially wanted to go to someone's house in yishun too, but no one's at home in the end]
ate dinner, guests enjoying orange juice with diner[coz no soup ):]
watched tv, waiting for lawrence to find his way here.
arrived, chatted.
in the end, they played mahjong.
uncle, loy and leonard left first, leaving aunts and lawrence here.
played mahjong till 1.30 am D:
mum? slept around 9.30
me? watched tv - ai, the silver chambers of sorrow, power sunday, 11pm news, guess guess guess, couple or trouble. :DDD
left, cleared up the house.
SLEEP SLEEP!
CNY DAY 4
went to uncle's house[dad's bro]
initially aunt living in rivervale asked if are we going to her house on sun.
but... yeah (:
haha.
reached around 5.
flipped through i-weekly, u-weekly, newspaper.
watched the legend of the fist - chen zhen :D
dinner was nice.
barley and dried tofu strips with gingko; hainan kou rou bao; sushi - egg, crabstick, raw fish; wanton; KFC - chicken, coleslaw, whipped potato, pepsi; Pizza Hut - pizza[2 flavours], calamari :DDD; agar agar; durian cream puff[mini one]
FULL :P
left around 9 after ai.
took eclair and durian cream puffs home
slept at 11.
